Finally Fall!

We have had an unusually warm fall this year, so it has been hard to believe that it's already November. But, in the last few weeks, the temperatures at night have dropped and the leaves have turned. After an extremely windy Halloween night, all the leaves off our tree in the front yard are piled up by the house. (OK -it's just a little tree, so there aren't THAT many leaves!) But today the kids decided to go out and jump in them, throw them, and just generally enjoy the unique entertainment that dry leaves provide. I have to admit, I kind of got a kick out of having leaves dumped on my head as well! There's something so satisfying about crunching leaves! Simple pleasures! I hope you enjoy as well!

I'm looking forward to having lots of leaves in the back to rake and jump in.
Love the pictures.
