Now What?

Today was our home inspection, and I was a little nervous about it. I had visions of them finding out that our pipes were corroded through or the roof had dry rot all through it, or some other catastrophe. However, the inspection went very well, and we only have to fix a few little things. (We don't have the official report yet, so I guess we can't entirely rule out a catastrophe!)
So...where does that leave us? I guess that means that I do actually have to pack up all of our junk and move it! There are no more excuses. I've packed several boxes already, but they have mostly been books, or tupperware we never use, or the heaviest of our winter coats. Now I have to begin packing stuff that we might actually use. Is there a scale of "necessary" for me to consult? The dishes are pretty necessary, but so are the cleaning products. I can't figure out which clothes to leave --will it continue to be nice weather, or will it decide to snow again? I don't really NEED the DVDs, but what will the kids do while I try to pack? Oh, the decisions!
Compounding this confusion is the fact that I have already nearly killed my husband with the few boxes I have packed. My mom gave us some boxes she got from a friend, and they are rather large. I thought I was doing pretty good, only loading them about halfway with books and then piling the lighter stuff on top. Dave went to carry the first box up the stairs (sidenote: only a few more weeks of stairs--yay!), and he almost fell over backwards! Apparently half a box of books is still a whole lot heavier than I would have guessed. The poor guy muscled them up the stairs and into his truck, but I think he may be considering calling a moving company for me!
In the end, we have about 4 weeks left to get it all figured out! That's a lot of time, but my end of school schedule is starting to look rather full. So, we may have to pull a few late-nighters to get it all done. But then we will have a wonderful new house and a new adventure to start on! God is good!
